Cryopreserved Rat Hepatocytes
Our pooled cryopreserved rat hepatocytes can be used in suspension for short-term drug metabolism experiments (we recommend no longer than four hours). The Sprague-Dawley rat hepatocytes also attach to cell culture dishes in a manner similar to that observed with freshly isolated rat hepatocytes. When cultured under appropriate conditions, these cryopreserved hepatocytes can be used to evaluate drug candidates as inducers of CYP enzymes.
