Hepatocyte Isolation Kit
Now optimized for different species, our Hepatocyte Isolation Kits make it convenient to achieve the best possible preparations of hepatocytes. Each one-time-use kit is sufficient to thaw and isolate one 4.5-mL vial of hepatocytes, or up to three 1.5-mL vials. For best results, we have developed a separate kit for use with mouse hepatocytes that maintains a high post-thaw percent viability.
Tube A contains nutrient-richmedia with an isotonic PercollTM used in initial cell isolation. PercollTM from sigma Chemical Co., St. Louis, MO
Tube B contains supplemented nutrient-rich media usd to wash the isolated hepatocytes
Counting Tube contains Trypan Blue solution used to determine cell yield and viability counts
Our non-gradient hepatocyte thawing kit contains supplemented nutrient-rich media used to wash the isolated hepatocytes and counting tubes containing trypan blue solution used to determine cell yield and viability counts.
