RapidStart NADPH Regenerating System
NOW AVAILABLE!
RapidStart™ in 0.3mL volume. This aliquot will allow for 40-80 assays to be performed.
ORDER RapidStart™ here!
Say goodbye to ordering separate components for an NADPH Regenerating
System. RapidStart™ is packaged in a single 7mL, durability-tested polycarbonate
vial. The RapidStart™ system is not only easily activated, but also the most
flexible pre-packaged NADPH regenerating system on the market, allowing
the user to easily manipulate the system concentration by varying the amount
of water added.
Add.
XenoTech's RapidStart™ is a one-step regenerating system. Simply
add water and the system is ready to go!
Agitate.
Use the concentration chart included with the product data sheet to
determine the amount of water to add and vortex, THAT'S IT! RapidStart™
has now been activated!
Activate.
Once activated, RapidStart™ maintains a suitable concentration
of NADPH for up to 12 hours at room temperature or 48 hours at 2-8°C, allowing
multi-day use of the NADPH Regenerating System.

NADPH is added to microsomal incubations to support reactions catalyzed by cytochrome
P450, flavin-containing monooxygenases and certain other enzymes. RapidStart provides the
required NADPH for these reactions by generating NADPH in situ through an enzymatic
reaction catalyzed by glucose-6-phosphate.
Vial contents:
0.5mL of 100mM NADP
0.5mL of 500mM Glucose-6-phosphate
0.5mL of 100 units/mL Glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase
In 20mM potassium phosphate buffer, pH 7.4
Preparation Procedures:
1) Determine the desired initial concentration using the dilution chart provided
2) Add the appropriate amount of high purity water for desired concentration
3) Vortex vial until all three pellets have fully dissolved
4) NADPH has been generated and the working solution is ready for use
Stability of activated NADPH regenerating system:
2-8°C: 48 hours
Room Temp: 12 hours
